Pocket METAR can be adopted to other languages than english.

All of the text used in Pocket METAR is stored in a single textfile. You can download these language files from the Pocket METAR Web and then set up you Pocket METAR software to use this new language file.

Settings

In the settings dialog there is a setting for language file to use. If you tap the ... button next to it you will bring up a file dialog that displays all installed language files in the device.

Choosing a language file

To install additional languages files just download them from the Pocket METAR web and then drop them in your pocket PC "My document" folder using the "Explore" button on your Active synch. Once they are copied to your device they will show up in the language dialog as described above.

If you find that no language file exists for your language on the Pocket METAR web, you can create your own language file. It is as easy as writing a text file.
