 Greetings Swede metal heads! My name is Drew Olmsted. I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico in the good ole U.S of A. I cybermet (is that the right term) one of your founders, Niclas Müller-Hansen on the Metal Sludge message board where he had been posting links for interviews available on "Metal Shrine". I have to say this is a very cool site with obscure (for us anyways) interviews. I have definitely enjoyed the interviews with the guys from Iron Maiden, and the Blaze Bailey interview, formerly of Maiden as you all know. Too bad it didn't work out for Blaze, but in my opinion, nobody does Iron Maiden like Bruce Dickenson. I'm 31 years old, married, no kids, but I do have two dogs. I started out listening to Motley Crue, "Shout At The Devil" in ´84, but it was Maiden's "Piece of Mind" that turned me into a full on metal head when I was just a youngster, full of hope and promise, before the world dragged me down, destroying all my dreams. Hey, take it easy, I'm just kidding. Has anybody noticed that if you line up the backs of the "Powerslave", "Piece of Mind", and "Number of the Beast" cd´s, in that order, they start to form a " Killers" era rendering of Eddie. It looks like "No Prayer For The Dying" fits in their somewhere too. Anyways, after corresponding with Niclas a few times he asked if I was interested in occasionally posting concert reviews, opinions, anything metal, etc on your site. I was more than happy to accept. This is the first time I have ever done anything like this, so please be patient. Hopefully, they will just get better. If they don't, well, at least it's free. At any rate it is definitely cool to be doing it. So onward we go with the first installment. Drew Olmsted
