All Shall Perish lirar stenhård death metal med hardcoreinslag och har sitt näste i Oakland, Kalifornien. Niclas Müller-Hansen What´s going on in the world of All Shall Perish? We are kickin ass and takin names... Please tell us about how the band got started! We were all in different bands in the bay area of California and we were like FUCK!! We want to combine all the styles we are all playing into one band and fuck some shit up....so we did! Where did the name All Shall Perish come from? I came up with it just sitting in my room reading internet news and feeling like FUCK!!! This world is fucked up and we can all go at any second, gotta live for the moment and eventually it just dropped in my head. It's a truism but it´s something we take for granted a lot of the time.  Your album "Hate, malice, revenge" is being re-released by Nuclear Blast. Tell us some fun stories from the recording sessions and guide us through the songs!
"Deconstruction" Our bassist wrote most of the music on this one and it's a personal story from our singer Craig "Laid to rest" We all had a hand in this one and the lyrics are also a personal story but from me this time. "Our own grave" Another everyone song, I wrote all the lyrics and its about mankind's self-perpetuated, eventual demise. "The spreading disease" I think our guitarist Ben wrote a lot of this song and I wrote the lyrics about the horrible problem of overpopulation and humans in general. "Sever the memory" Ben wrote this one with me one night in the studio by accident and the lyrics are about breaking ties and coming to find your own truth past what is fed to you as a kid. "For far too long" We all had a hand in this one and it was about one of our ex- guitar players and how much of a bitch he was and how he needed to come to grips with his life and stop complaining. "Never ending war" Ben and Mike wrote a lot of this song and I wrote all the lyrics while Craig helped with the patterns and it was done right around the time of the second invasion of Iraq. It´s all about the US betraying itself and fighting to keep informed from all the assholes who try to keep you ignorant through limited information. "Herding the brainwashed" Our first song ever, and lyrics that are about as anti-religion as it gets...sorry Deicide I know its your territory. You guys seem to be into the Swedish scene. Any favorites and have you met these bands? Yeah, we love Swedish music! You guys have your own sound and it is incredible. We have never got to meet any of our favorite Swedish bands but I mean we love In Flames, At the Gates, Opeth, Soilwork and so many others.  When did you start drumming and who were your early influences?
Well I started about 4 years ago and I loved Lombardo, Talley, Sandoval, and Flo. How do you go about writing songs in the band? Who´s the main song writer? We don't have a main songwriter, its really just all of us throwing shit together and arguing forever. We all have to agree on everything so shit takes a while!!! There´s gotta be a couple of them, right? Texas sucks to drive through in the summer, we almost got eaten alive by massive Texas bugs or whatever the fuck they were...they were everywhere and we were afraid to even open the van door. Also some douche in Texas flipped his car drunk as fuck, got out, and just started running full speed away....there were no cops even following him....fuckin Texas. What can we expect from All Shall Perish in 2005? Any plans for Sweden and have you ever played here? 05 is touring the US!! We will come to Sweden some day...some day, hopefully in 06!!! Any messages for the Swedish crowd? You guys have some of the best bands in the world, and a sound all to your own, thanks for living in a place that creates such great music!!!
